I am pleased with this photo and how it conveys the chill of Siberia, even though it was taken in Nashua NH.
Both times I've been in this store, I think of my grandparents and what their lives must have been like before they came to America . . . and what it was like for them to come to this new country with so many new foods and experiences.
The store carries Russian magazines, calendars, spices, teas, kasha, dozens of candies and other sweets, jars of vegetables, smoked fish, caviar, beautiful breads, and more.
This bread weighs about 5 pounds. It's large, dense and chewy. This is a bread to get you through a long cold winter.
