Box Made from Photo

We made dozens of these boxes as party favors for my mom's 70th birthday party. For the lid, I set up a Scrabble board, Scrabble tiles, candles, and a photo of my mom at age 5. Click on the photo to enlarge it. The bottoms of the boxes were made with found paper.

In case you have not already guessed, Scrabble is my mom's favorite game, so we put Scrabble tiles and other goodies in the boxes. What we did not expect is that people put together their tiles with each other and spelled funny and naughty things! Without realizing it, we had created a fun way to get our guests mixing with people at other tables -- so they could spell out more words!
