Red Potholders

Because it's Wear Red Day, I wanted to post something red. The potholders are machine-pieced and hand quilted with embroidery floss which should be sturdy enough since they are mostly decorative. The hand quilting was done just this evening. The workmanship is imperfect but I guess that increases the charm factor (click on the photo to see more detail). At last, this blog is doing what I wanted -- pushing me to finish projects so they can be posted! Sometimes, the most important thing is to move from contemplation to action.
