Silk Stainless Steel

I just finished this scarf last week and I love it! The yarn is stainless steel wrapped in black silk and it's made by Habu Textiles. This fiber is very stetchy and has wonderful memory. I used the full cone. When stretched to its longest, it measures more than 5.5 feet.

When I pull its sides, it looks like this.

Then I fold it lengthwise, and pin it at the neck.

I love it with this sweater.

I had one concern -- would it set off the metal detector alarms at the airport? I'm happy to report that when I wore it on a recent trip, it did not set off any alarms at the airport.
