Salmon and Carnations

This pentagon flower is nearly identical to the one posted on April 7 except the other has a pink center. The salmon fabric can be viewed here.

What's the Plan for the Pentagon Flowers?
Several of you have asked what I'm doing with these pentagon flowers. Short answer: I don't know. Originally, I was inspired by one of the blocks in this quilt, but I lost steam on that idea. I may still return to that idea. I'm just letting it brew for now. I've finally figured out that I have two different colorway going: one in pinks, reds, browns, and baby blues; the other in peaches, salmons, and yellows. However, this block and it's sister block with the pink center seem to be telling me that maybe I just have one big colorway.  Notice: I still have not decided where the greens belong. This is not the first time I've gotten myself into a color quandry. I'm going to let this brew and see what comes. I welcome your comments and ideas on this.

I'm asking the question I swore I wouldn't ask, "What are you doing with all these lucious, beautiful, fairy fanciful beauties?"
