It's so nice to have the blocks all done! I'm a bit distracted by the difference in the blocks that were scanned versus those that were photographed . . . so . . . I've decided to scan the blocks that were originally photographed. I'm going row by row. You can see, I've done four rows. It looks like someone turned the lights on, or washed the quilt!
I know, it's a bit crazy but I figured once I start sewing the blocks together, I won't be able to do this. So, I'm doing it now.

i was thinking how different your recent blocks looked on the previous picture. This will give much more accurate picture of those pretty fabric's and how well you have placed them
Thanks, Sheila, for your kind remarks. I think you are right that the true colors are more apparent...but I'e had to enhance them a bit as they were a little too washed out.
All finished your center blocks, how nice!!!! Exciting, but a little sad at the same time. Have fun putting your blocks together.
Years go, if you had told me I'd feel sad when the blocks are all done, I would not have believed you....but now, I know.
Hello Minka,
Thanks for your comment on my blog. What lovely soft colours you have used for your Dear Jane. Although I looked forward to having finished the blocks the feeling is a bit confusing don't you think: happy they are finished and at the same time sad. It was such a large part of my life.
Regards,
Marian
Marian,
I agree. It's part of the reason the triangular blocks are enticing. I wonder how Jane felt when she finished her last block. I wonder what order she did them. And I wonder about her decisions on placing the blocks. Some of them make sense and others, I'm tempted to move around.
