G13 - Molly's Muffins is one of the few blocks in this quilt that was machine pieced. After machine-piecing the nine patch, the curved pieces were hand appliquéd in place. The machine piecing indicates this was a very early block. I quickly switched to hand piecing, because I could not get the accuracy I wanted on my sewing machine. In addition, I was much happier since I prefer handwork.
