L7 - Town Square is one more early hand-pieced block that I intended to replace -- with a pink block but eventually, it grew on me and I kept it red. The dark colors anchor the corners of the Trip Round the World arrangement.
For a long time, I planned to replace this block with a pink or red one but somewhere along the way, it grew on me and I decided to leave K3 - Seven Sisters as is.
J6 - Granny Weaver was hand pieced. It was made early but not super early given the accuracy of the narrow strips. It may not be obvious, but the five yellow squares in the center are fussy cuts.
