More Melons for Jane

Thanks to the Dear Jane Quilt, I became quite proficient at hand applique. Back in the late 1990's, I fell in love with the method and did many of the blocks that required it. Here are a four more blocks that feature melons. (First melon post was on April 30.)
E1 - Aunt Exie's Phlox

J11 - Twin Sister
A7 - Dad's Plaid

E10 - Five and Dime
I may re-do all four. I've made up my mind to do my Baby Jane quilt in pastels although I may be able to live with Twin Sister's French's mustard yellow. This pink block is the right color but I pieced it wrong. When the square in the lower righthand corner is rotated 90°, the symmetry of the scollwork will become evident. Perhaps I can try re-doing just that piece. It may be tricky since this block was hand pieced first and then appliqued.
