Pink Hydrangea with Yellow
This English paper pieced pentagon flower is a fussy cut -- sort of -- in that I controlled the placement of the yellowish pink blossoms but it's not an exact fussy cut.
Among my other pentagon flowers, this one's less impressive, but just imagine an entire quilt made of just these! If there's one thing quilting teaches us it's that repetition can make the simple into something fantastic! It's the magic of multiplication - a la MosaicMaker!

ohmigosh, love that quilt.
Hey, what are you photographing these wee flowers on? I love the background. It really would make a fabulous quilt background.
I do like this one for the warmth and delicacy of the petals! Another beautiful piece of art!
Thanks for stopping by and saying hello. It's so nice to meet people who share a passion for fabric and sewing!
Hi Linda,
Thank you for visiting my blog and for your kind remarks. I'm responding here as I know no other way to contact you.
The flowers are made with the English Paper Piecing technique. In the right-hand column, look for and click on "English paper piecing" which will bring you to all my postings on this technique and projects made with same. Then, scroll to the earliest postings and you will find the methods I found most helpful to me. It will include links to YouTube tutorials, etc.
Hope that helps!
