Rose and Aqua

At one point, I was going to use my pentagon flowers to create a quilt that reminded me of a childhood coverlet. The coverlet was not a quilt but it was made of quilted fabric in pinks and some blues. That's what inspired me to buy this aqua and pink fabric. The flowers on the aqua fabric do have the right feel reminiscent of the 1950's and early 1960's. I like the way the small flowers set off the large rose in the center. On an aqua background, this flower would suggest a smaller flower with ruffled pink petals.
