May 17 was an overcast, rainy day at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. This shot was taken in the Bluebell Wood. Visitors were scarce, the lighting was beautiful, and everything was fresh-washed with rain. Just lovely. Truly.

I love fields of bluebells. I took some pix of a lovely patch of them when I was in Ireland last May. Thanks for reminding me of them.
