Uncle Richard

D9 - Uncle Richard is an early hand-pieced block. This makes the second block named after an uncle. Early on, I did not notice the "trip round the world" color organization of Jane's quilt. When I did, I began figuring out what colors the blocks needed to be to create the TRTW arrangement in my quilt. I thought I first made this block in pale green but I have no photograph to prove it.
