Baby Sweater Set
I knit this sweater set for a friend's baby girl about five years ago. The colored yarn is a self-patterning sock yarn. I did some fussy selection of the yarn to get the gray and white checks on the neckline and the solid colors on the heels and toes. The two buttons were a lucky find -- they match perfectly right down to the gray stripes on the bees bodies! The buttons are decorative; the actual closure was a clear plastic snap. I used three unrelated patterns. It's the yarn that pulls it together to look like a set. Click on the photo for a closer look.
