Reflections Abound

Partway into this block, L3 - Reflections Abound, I wondered why I used two different green fabrics, instead of using the fruit for all the fussy cuts and saving the big dots for another block in that quadrant of the quilt. Oh well, it's done.

Construction and Fabric
Construction was straightforward. The two fabrics were previously used in other blocks: B3 - Mirror Image (shown below), B8 - Water Lily (shown below), and  J13 - Pam's Bells. I never blogged about those blocks when I made them so I don't have much to say about them other than what I learned by reading my comments on Flickr: B3 was completed on March 29, 2008; and I was very pleased with the way the fussy cuts on B8 turned out. Perhaps it was one of my earliest tries at fussy cuts. Click on the photos to enlarge them.
