
Now that I've reconciled myself to the fact that I will repeat the fabrics in my quilt, I feel free to use more than one fabric (not counting the background fabric)

PS. This is what this block will look like once it's sewn into the quilt top. I just realized the seams in the upper right corner are pressed in the wrong direction -- I want it to appear that the yellow is "on top" of the cream background fabric. Look for the tiny shadows at the seams to see what I mean.

I love how you pay such careful attention to the details-- the use of color, the overall look of the block, pressing the seams. It's something that I'm working on in this quilt, and it is very inspiring to see how wonderful the results can be in completed blocks. You're giving me lots of much needed motivation! :)
